| "Yes! Finally I'm entering this year!" murmured a girl holding a tournament invitation tightly. Her face was filled with excitement. This is South Town's China Town. She was doing a part time job at a Chinese restaurant. Her name is Xiang Fei. She loved fighting for a long time and she had the guts to do it, she's working as a waitress, and a guard in this restaurant. "Too bad I couldn't go last year. Even though I received the invitation, Mary and King already went with a different team and Mai's team was already full." In the last tournament, there weren't any team members she could find. "Alright! This time I'm going to make a team fast!" She starts her journey through the foggy street to look for team members. ** In a dojo in South Town. There was an angry woman. "Andy, I wont' forgive you!! Twice in a row of leaving me behind! Now, why don't you come out Andy!" she yelled at her top of her lungs. "Hello, Mai! I found you!" There, Xiangfei appeared without any warning. "Oh, Xiangfei! How did you know I was here?" "Heheh, I heard Andy opened a dojo, so I thought you were here, Mai!" "Well, It's good he opened a dojo, but where is he? It seems I can't predict where he goes. Anyway you have something to talk about?" "Yes! I want to ask you to be my team member this year!" Mai: "Wha?" Xiangfei talks to Mai about the last tournament. "Hmm… okay! I'll fight with you Xiangfei! And, I'll make Andy regret what he did!" Mai bellowed. "Y, yes! Let's Fight!" ** King: "Hmph, the world still doesn't have good business." In a quiet store a woman is reading a newspaper on a big long table. Her name is King. Her name is widely known to fight fans worldwide. She was reading the newspapers while the store closed. She stops reading and turns towards the counter. There, an envelope lay on the table, an Invitation to King of Fighters. "Hmph. Sending again? I told them to stop sending." mutters King. A sound comes from the door. "Welcome, I'm sorry, but the store isn't open yet." King said. "King? Long time no see!" "Oh! Xiangfei! Mai too? Hmm." As soon as King saw them she knew it was because of the tournament. She didn't wanted to enter the tournament, but Mai and Xiangfei insisted. "Okay, okay! I'll enter-- so stop yapping!" "Really!? Yay!!" Xiangfei screamed. "What about the last person? We can't enter with just the three of us. Any person you thinking of?" King said. "Oh! Kasumi told us at the last tournament that she went looking for her father and no call from her and Yuri already made it in a team." "Mai. Um. How about that sumo girl?" Xiangfei questioned. "Ohh.. Hinako, but she goes to school." "It's ok, I'll persuade her." said Xiangfei. "Nice to meet you. My name is Shijo Hinako." It didn't take long for Hinako to find the Illusion Bar. Luckily she was traveling here at South Town. "You're the Sumo Wrestler, Hinako. Today everything is free, so eat all you want." Xiangfei said with a smile. "Hey, hey!" King intervened. This is my store is mine! "Oh, really?! Thank you! Then…" Hinako said. "By the way Hinako, why don't you join us? We're entering the tournament. We'll definitely win with you."
